California Spray Foam Insulation Rules Pass Muster, Court Says

An appellate court upheld the decision of the California Department of Toxic Substances Control to classify specific spray foams as a priority product under the state’s “Green Chemistry” programme.
Safer Consumer Products laws were established in accordance with the Green Chemistry law in order to detect and control substances of concern that have negative impacts on the environment or public health. Products that include those substances are designated as “priority products” and are subject to stricter regulation, including limitations on use and sales as well as engineering safety precautions.
