Foam Manufacturer Grows Footprint to Meet Demand

HIGH POINT- Future Foam, a producer of polyurethane foam used in bedding, furniture, and other applications, is preparing to expand once more at its High Point facility according to the Triad Business Journal,. The new building will increase the complex of the corporation, which was previously enlarged in 2006, by an additional 65,000 square feet.
Future Foam will receive $161,840 in incentives from the High Point City Council. The company is expected to invest $8.5 million, add equipment and hire 25 more people, including pour line operators, shipping staff, crane operators and maintenance personnel, per the filing with the council.
