Ravinder Puri serves as the Vice President of the Polyurethane Division at Taj Al Mulook (Tajchem), a leading chemical distributor across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region. With over a decade of experience in the polyurethane and specialty chemicals sector, he plays a pivotal leadership role in driving commercial growth, technical innovation, and strategic partnerships across key industries such as insulation, construction, automotive, and general manufacturing. 

Recognized for his deep understanding of polyurethane systems, Ravinder bridges product innovation with evolving market needs. At Tajchem, he leads regional business development, manages key customer relationships, and oversees a dynamic, multinational team — all while collaborating closely with global partners to deliver sustainable, high-performance solutions tailored to the region’s demands. 

His global outlook, shaped by extensive experience across the EMEA region, enables him to effectively navigate diverse commercial environments and contribute to Tajchem’s international growth.

Sankar Kandasamy

Head of Polyurethane Foam Products Development, Sobha Furniture

Sankar Kandasamy is a polyurethane development specialist with extensive experience across rigid, flexible, and microcellular foam technologies. He has worked on rigid foam systems for sandwich panels, appliances, pipe insulation, spray foam, and other industrial applications, including formulations using variable blowing agents. 

He also brings strong expertise in flexible foam development using MMDI, TM, and MT isocyanates for automotive, furniture, cushion seating, and mattress applications. In addition, Sankar has significant experience in microcellular foam systems for automotive and specialty applications, as well as the development of adhesive solutions for foams, panels, and rubber crumbs. 

Alongside product development, he actively provides technical support to customers, helping optimize processes, resolve quality challenges, and ensure smooth production operations.

Current portfolio; Board of Directors mandates (Europe, Asia and USA) and independent advisory projects & mandates on topics; CSR-implementation , Strategy, Aligning social & environmental impact in strategies, M&A small & mid-caps, „Go to market worldwide“ new product-portfolio, Implementing compliance rules & regulations, Sustainability & Circularity implementation, Crises-Management handling, execution & communication, Global purchasing setup, Executive coaching CEO and Cross-culture advice & training. Dr. Hamideh Ahmadloo

Head of Strategic Supply, Sika Group

Dr. Hamideh Ahmadloo is Head of Strategic Supply at Sika Group, where she leads multidisciplinary initiatives that safeguard continuity and competitiveness when supply markets fragment, regulations tighten, and critical raw materials become geopolitically constrained. By shaping supplier ecosystems and strategic partnerships across regions, she enables scalable innovation and makes reliability the default – translating complexity into disciplined execution and measurable business outcomes. In 2025, her partnership-led impact was recognized with Sika’s EMEA ICON Award for unlocking market potential. 

With 15+ years of international leadership experience across EMEA, the Americas, and APAC, Hamideh combines deep technical expertise with commercial acumen in polyurethanes, polymers, and performance materials, alongside strategic procurement, and sustainability-led transformation. 

Prior to Sika, Hamideh held senior technical and commercial roles at Dow, specializing in polyol development and high-performance polyurethane systems for demanding applications. She is an inventor on 8 patents/IPs in polyurethane and polymer science—lead inventor/author on 5 of them—and has authored multiple publications in polymer science, reflecting a strong foundation in formulation design, structure–property relationships, and performance validation. 

As an Advisory Board member, she brings a future-focused perspective on PU technologies, localization and market readiness in the Middle East, and practical pathways to combine performance, energy efficiency, and sustainability at scale. 

Christine Mendoza-Frohn

Executive Vice President, Covestro

Christine brings decades of business leadership across the chemicals, plastics & polyurethanes, spanning global & regional roles. Her strategic and hands on track record includes Engineering Chemistry, Supply Chain, Product Management, Marketing & Sales. She holds Board Roles / Presidency in Associations like the International Isocyanates Institute, ISOPA and the PC / BPA Global Alliance.
